The two most common wire types used in balustrade are 1x19 construction and 7x7 construction 3.2mm (1/8) diameter grade 316.
The 316 grade wire has the best qualities to resist harsh environmental conditions and severe weather.
The 1x19 construction wire is best suited to straight runs where the 7x7 construction wire is more flexible and can be turned around slight corners without adversely damaging the wire.
1x19 3.2mm (1/8) is available in both 305 and 1000 meter reels.
7x7 3.2mm (1/8) is available in 100, 305 and 1000 meter reels.
Cut lengths are available in both constructions at a small surcharge. |
