We currently supply over 30% of all stainless wire rope sold in Australia covering architectural, aviation, engineering, marine, mining and general industry. We are proud to list many of Australia’s major companies among our customers and have contributed to some of the country’s highest profile projects.

| Since the early days of Arcus, product development and a dedication to quality has been of paramount importance. Originally a manufacturer of lifting equipment to the mining, defence and Crane industries our founder the late John Arcus was aware of the need to embrace new and innovative development in the uses and applications for wire rope. |

| As chief development engineer for the introduction of the Talurit swaging system into Australia, Arcus designed and built the first fully computerised Plaited Cable machine, capable of making cable from 11mm to 43mm diameter. Our commitment to technological development, the innovative application of our products and scrupulous quality control, have all contributed to making Arcus Australia the country’s largest supplier of stainless steel cable. |

Today we work with architects, engineers, designers and specifiers in a wide range of industries to produce practical and cost effective solutions to a myriad of engineering challenges. In addition we have added a number of agency lines to our portfolio, sourced from manufacturers of high quality components from around the world. These have enabled us to offer a more comprehensive range of solution options to our customers as well as expanding the opportunities for wire rope applications into new areas. |
